Ready to Get Off The Fence and Prosper with Cash Gifting in 2012?

Today is January 2nd and it’s the perfect time to write this post; Why you ask??

During the past week leading up to today, many people have engaged in a time honored tradition–making New Years’ resolutions.

Oh, we all have lofty goals and we swear that this year is going to be different; we lie to ourselves and say, “THIS is going to be the year I FINALLY…”:

Lose that extra weight I’ve been carrying around for longer than I want to admit
Use that gym membership I’ve been paying for for the past 3 years to get into shape (mind you, I haven’t set foot in that gym since I signed up)
Quit ______________ (you fill in the blank here with the appropriate goal; smoking, drinking, harassing my neighbor , acting like a moron, my job and backpack through Europe even though I’ve only got $58 to my name and I hate to fly). Seems to me it might be tough to hitchhike to Paris from the States but what do I know?
Win the lottery or win big at the casino ( I’m banking my entire retirement option on one or both of these “sure things”)

Let’s face it, we all know what happens: we’re serious for a couple weeks, a month, maybe even 2 months–then we make excuses as to why we can’t make it to the gym, we continue our destructive eating habits, endangering our health and all we have to show for our retirement plan are 52 weeks of losing tickets and countless winless trips to the casino.

Are you sick and tired of being sick, tired and broke?

Here’s my suggestion: Get off your butt and off the fence and prosper with cash gifting.

Prosper Massively in 2012 with Cash Gifting

With another year coming to a close, can I ask you a few questions?

Did 2011 turn out to be everything you wanted it to be financially?
Did you reach the goals you set for yourself and your family to finally attain financial freedom once and for all?
Did you even set any goals for achieving prosperity for 2011 and beyond?

If you answered “No” to at least two of these questions, face it; what you’re doing (or not doing) isn’t working.

Wouldn’t you agree that reaching those financial goals in 2012 is going to take a radically different plan than the one that didn’t work for you in 2011? If so, I have an opportunity you might like to consider: cash gifting.

Those of you who do your research on cash gifting (all you have to do is Google “cash gifting” to get started), get in touch with me to get all of your questions answered (you WILL have questions) and then decide you’re ready to create a different future for yourself and your family

YOU MUST HAVE A MENTOR AND NOT JUST ANY MENTOR!!

Cash gifting is like any new endeavor in that you need someone to show you the ropes and to help get you started on the right foot; your mentor actually is your first step to becoming involved in a cash gifting club because they are your invitor. I’ve been very fortunate to have found an amazing mentor in Ryan Biddulph (my featured pic) who embodies the true spirit of giving which is an absolute necessity with this activity. The following are absolute MUSTS when evaluating a cash gifting mentor or coach:

Make sure this individual’s heart is in the right place; does he or she have a heart for giving or are they shameless self-promoters just trying to reel you in?
Investigate the mentor’s knowledge of cash gifting; have they written articles or do they blog on a regular basis about the subject? You want to make sure that you find someone that has studied the activity and knows enough to mentor you to success.
How accessible is he or she? Do they return your calls or answer your emails quickly or did they go underground, never to be seen or heard from again?

Cash Gifting Programs ~ How Do They Work? Part 3 of 4

OK, in Part 1 of this series, we defined cash gifting and talked about the attributes associated with this work at home opportunity. In Part 2, we talked about the proper structure of a cash gifting program and the correct terminology as well as the need for gifting and non-solicitation forms.

In this third post, we’re going to continue this series by talking about:

The proper way to market cash gifting

Because of the nature of cash gifting, it is not recommended that you market this activity like other work at home opportunities. I’m going to share the FREE marketing methods that I use to promote this alternative prosperity stream to like minded individuals taught to me by my own mentor.

Start a blog ~ This is one of the techniques I use to promote cash gifting. There are very few individuals out there providing high value content on this subject so you have the ability to establish yourself as an expert by teaching your audience exactly how cash gifting allows them to establish an additional or primary prosperity stream.
Open a Twitter account ~ Twitter is another way that I promote cash gifting and I do this by using a variety of tweets:

My mentor, Ryan Biddulph, is an authority in cash gifting and has published a number of ebooks; I use his ebooks to “tweet” short quotes about the subject.
I scour the web looking for motivational quotes about giving.
I “retweet” frequently which allows me to meet people that share my philosophy of “giving freely and receiving gratefully”.
I do share my website but VERY sparingly (maybe every 8-10 posts).

Submit articles to online directories ~ There are a number of FREE sites out there like articlesbase and amazines. Writing content rich articles will help to expand your presence and assist in establishing you as an authority in the cash gifting field.
Start to follow blogging superstars and leave thoughtful comments which will allow you to leave backlinks to your site (you can find high ranking blogs at alltop.com). Don’t be a drive-by commenter; comments like “nice post” or “I agree” lack substance and won’t gain you any friends.

In my next post, the last in this series, I’m going to discuss the importance of having a mentor for your cash gifting activity and the criteria you should use in choosing the right one; your mentor is your gateway to entering the world of cash gifting so you want to make sure you do your due diligence in this area.

Talk about the proper structure of a cash gifting program
Share some cash gifting terminology with you
Discuss the forms associated with a cash gifting program

One of the first things you should find out when you’re researching a cash gifting club is ask, “How is the Club Organized”?

A cash gifting program should NEVER be structured like a business; any type of business structure is illegal (including MLM or network marketing).
Cash gifting is a private, invitation-only work at home opportunity; again, unlike MLM, there is no recruiting permitted. Admittance into a cash gifting group or program requires an invitation from a cash gifting mentor.
If mentors talk about receiving a return on your gift, RUN DON’T WALK to another club; cash gifting involves money given to help others freely and it entitles you to nothing in return.
No hard sell tactics are permitted with this work at home activity. You can’t ask someone for a gift; if they believe in the concept of “giving freely and receiving gratefully”, they could choose to offer a gift to you.

As I’ve stated in previous posts, cash gifting is a unique opportunity and as such, has some specific terminology to be aware of:

Cash gifting programs are NOT investment groups, companies, corporations or businesses; they can be referred to as clubs, systems or groups.
Words or terms like profit, income or return on investment are not to be used with cash gifting; my own mentor uses the term “prosperity stream” which I love and use myself.

The last thing I want to talk about are the forms that a legitimate cash gifting program should offer to a prospective cash gifter.

Cash gifting programs should offer both a gifting form and a non-solicitation form; these are legal documents that state that the gift that you are offering is of your own free will and you expect nothing in return.
These documents also maintain that the group is not operating as a business.
If the program you are considering joining doesn’t offer these forms for you to sign PRIOR to giving your gift, again, RUN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION and locate another club and/or cash gifting mentor.

Perhaps some of you are wondering at this point, “Why would anyone get involved in this activity where there are no guarantees that you will receive anything in return”? In my opinion, the absolute first thing that you must possess is the proper mindset (click here for my previous post on this subject); that you will reap what you sow and the act of giving multiplies exponentially when you do it for the right reasons. There is no question that this activity is not for everyone but it can be very gratifying for a number of reasons if you decide to embark on this journey.

I’ve been talking about the work at home activity of cash gifting for a few months now so I thought it would be a good idea to explain how cash gifting programs work. In this first post of a four-part series, I’ll

Define the term “cash gifting”
Discuss what cash gifting IS NOT

OK, let’s get started

The activity of cash gifting is unique and unlike most other work at home opportunities and here’s my definition:

Cash Gifting is a gift given freely, devoid of any coercion or pressure, without any expectation of repayment. The gift is not a loan, an investment nor a payment for goods or services~~it is, very simply, a sum of money given to help someone out.

I want to bring to your attention a couple of critical phrases in this definition:

Gift given freely ~ self-explanatory, I think, but no one is pressuring you to give this gift; you’re doing it of your own free will.

Without expectation of repayment ~ the term “repayment” is generally associated with a loan, your gift is NOT a loan and you don’t give the gift then ask your mentor, “When will I receive my OWN gift”? ~ cash gifting doesn’t work this way.

Nor a payment for goods or services ~ you are NOT receiving any tangible product or service in exchange for your gift.

Now that we’ve defined cash gifting, let’s discuss some particulars; since this is such a specialized activity, people tend to confuse the activity of cash gifting with home based businesses; cash gifting is NOT:

Multi-level marketing (MLM) ~ MLMs are network marketing businesses; legitimate cash gifting programs cannot be organized as MLMs. With cash gifting, there is no one to recruit and no exchange of money for a product or service. If the program you are considering operates as an MLM, run in the opposite direction!
Affiliate marketing ~ Cash gifting is NOT an affiliate marketing opportunity; you do not receive a cut of a product being sold because there IS no product being sold. Cash gifting can be marketed in order to share the opportunity with others but there is no product or service connected to the activity.
A Get Rick Quick Scam ~ Cash gifting can be a lucrative work at home opportunity but it won’t happen overnight and it won’t happen AT ALL if you think it’s all about you and what’s in it for you; first and foremost, cash gifting is ALL about giving before receiving.

You Don’t Need to be Fabulously Wealthy (like Bill Gates) to Become Involved in Cash Gifting

I’ve been involved in the activity of cash gifting for awhile now and I thought it would be a good time to dispel what I think might be a popular misconception:

“Don’t I need to be financially well off myself before I can even THINK about becoming part of a group of people who can afford to give selflessly with no expectation of return?”

Ahh, no…

Some of the richest men (and greatest philanthropists) in our history didn’t start out that way: some came from very humble beginnings, many were (and are) self made millionaires and even billionaires; many like Bill Gates, Warren Buffett and countless others embrace the ideology of giving back.

The Proper Cash Gifting Mindset (Hint: It’s Not About You!)

MLM
Direct Sales
Network Marketing
A Get Rick Quick Scheme

In fact, cash gifting isn’t a business at all and here’s my definition:

In my opinion, the number one secret to success in cash gifting is your mindset ~

Prosperity mindset = $$$ attracted to you
Poverty mindset = Nothing (or no one) attracted to you

Think about it: who would you rather be associated with or have as your mentor, a positive person who exudes confidence and is successful and encouraging or Mr. or Ms. Negative, who has a constant aura of negativity and a “Woe is me” attitude?

Those who achieve success in cash gifting all have one thing in common: not only do they possess a prosperity mindset, they also want to help others in need–they give for the sheer joy of giving. On the opposite end of the spectrum are those with a poverty mindset, who blame others for their own lack of prosperity and who would probably ask, “Well, giving is great if you have the money, but I don’t and what’s in it for me anyway?”

NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE??

So when you ponder whether cash gifting is the right work at home opportunity for you, are you asking yourself:

“What’s in it for ME?”

“How Can I Help Someone Else Prosper?”

If it’s the last statement that comes to mind, contact me; I’d love to chat about the wonderful people I’ve met since I’ve been involved in cash gifting who have the RIGHT mindset…

If it’s the former statement, “What’s in it for ME?” that you ask yourself or you think giving with no expectation of anything in return is a bunch of hooey, keep looking for another work at home opportunity; cash gifting isn’t right for you.

Mentor, Schmentor~~3 Reasons Why You Need One for Cash Gifting Success

Let me start out by saying I know schmentor isn’t a real word; I couldn’t think of anything else that rhymed with mentor!

Now to the topic at hand: do you really need a mentor to achieve success in cash gifting? I believe the answer is a resounding “YES” and here are my 3 reasons why:

1 – Cash gifting is a unique work at home activity, not at all like MLM, direct sales or network marketing; in fact, it’s not a business at all and can’t be promoted as such. For this reason, it’s important to hitch your wagon to someone who knows the ins and outs of cash gifting so you start off on the right foot.

2 – After making your first gift, you’ll want to promote the activity to other like minded individuals who believe in the concept of giving freely and accepting gratefully. Since cash gifting is a private, invitation only activity, it can’t be promoted by spamming your link on everyone’s Facebook wall. An effective mentor will introduce you to the correct ways to promote the activity so you can connect with others who share your giving philosophy.

3 – Although the back office training for the program I belong to is very good, I still have questions from time to time; a good mentor won’t go underground when you need those questions answered in order to move ahead. I’m happy to say that my mentor, Ryan Biddulph, is just an email or Facebook message away and always gets back to me quickly.

Due Diligence a Must When Shopping for a Cash Gifting Program

There are a number of cash gifting programs currently out there; they come in various shapes and sizes. When contemplating this work at home opportunity, it’s important to do your due diligence, just like you should before you join ANY new venture.

Ask yourself the following questions before handing over your cash to just anyone:

1 - How Are Cash Gifts Shared?
The structure of a cash gifting program is extremely important for determining its legitimacy. Cash gifting is a private, invitation only activity composed of like minded individuals who give their gifts freely with no expectation of renumeration. The program should not promote a product or service and is not an investment vehicle. If the program you are thinking of joining is structured in this fashion, run in the opposite direction; cash gifting programs CANNOT resemble a business in any way, shape or form.

Gifts can be shared in a variety of ways, depending on how the club is set up. Some common strategies include the 1 Up, No Up and hybrid residual structures; there are advantages and disadvantages to each. Make sure you understand upfront how your gifts will be shared and decide which strategy is best for you.

2 – Does the Program Include Access to a Website?
As a new cash gifting mentor, you’ll want to share this opportunity with other like minded individuals via a squeeze page and tour site. A top notch program will also include back office access which allows accurate tracking of gifts with no monthly admin fee; make sure you find out about potential costs upfront (my club charges a one-time admin fee upfront for my lifetime in the program; I pay no monthly charges at all).

3- Does the Program Provide You with Marketing Tools?
As I mentioned previously, as a new cash gifting mentor, you’ll want to share this opportunity with like minded individuals who believe in giving freely and accepting gratefully. Make sure that your program provides you with access to effective marketing strategies; cash gifting is a private, invitation only activity so it can’t be marketed like direct sales or network marketing opportunities.
