Ready to Get Off The Fence and Prosper with Cash Gifting in 2012?
Today is January 2nd and it’s the perfect time to write this post; Why you ask??
During the past week leading up to today, many people have engaged in a time honored tradition–making New Years’ resolutions.
Oh, we all have lofty goals and we swear that this year is going to be different; we lie to ourselves and say, “THIS is going to be the year I FINALLY…”:
- Lose that extra weight I’ve been carrying around for longer than I want to admit
- Use that gym membership I’ve been paying for for the past 3 years to get into shape (mind you, I haven’t set foot in that gym since I signed up)
- Quit ______________ (you fill in the blank here with the appropriate goal; smoking, drinking, harassing my neighbor , acting like a moron, my job and backpack through Europe even though I’ve only got $58 to my name and I hate to fly). Seems to me it might be tough to hitchhike to Paris from the States but what do I know?
- Win the lottery or win big at the casino ( I’m banking my entire retirement option on one or both of these “sure things”)
Are you sick and tired of being sick, tired and broke?
Here’s my suggestion: Get off your butt and off the fence and prosper with cash gifting.

I’m so glad I gave up on new year’s resolutions a long time ago Diane. Most people never follow through with them anyway wouldn’t you agree?
One thing is for sure though… If you want to change your life you have to step outside your comfort zone and do something different for a change. Take chances, do something new, give it your best shot because you’ll never know and always be left with the what if’s.
Let’s all make 2012 our best year ever.
Happy New Year Diane.

Adrienne: Thanks, as always, for stopping by.
It’s funny, I didn’t finish 2011 attaining all of the goals I had set but I learned SO much about what didn’t work; I was also fortunate to meet people like you during the past year who introduced me to so many great tools and tips and I’m excited about 2012 and the fabulous prospects.

Hi Diane,
New Year’s Resolutions aren’t my thing either. I hate breaking promises. Especially those I made to myself.
I love what Adrienne said above about change and I’d like to add to that. If you’re not happy with your life, finances, whatever, change it. If you don’t get the results you expected it’s time to change course. There’s no perfect time. The best time is right now. Don’t wait until you’re ready because you never will be. But if you keep doing the same thing you are doing now, don’t expect different results.
Happy New Year and may this be your best and most prosperous year ever!

Ilka: Thanks for taking the time to stop by; I’m not a psychic but I see great things happening in 2012 for those of us willing to make the adjustments necessary to prosper; there are great opportunities for those who have the guts to change course and go for it!!
You’re right, too, about timing; there is no perfect time to start a business or do something different to change your financial situation; I do know if you do nothing, you’ll be in the same position 5 or 10 years from now–what do you have to lose by trying something new in 2012??

Hi Diane,
Really powerful note here.
Preparing for the reception of wealth is the first step to allowing more wealth in. Sometimes we want to prosper but secretly expect lack. A tough 1 to spot, for sure, but positive posts like this put us in a high energy vibe, one which is receptive to wealth.
I like your focus on gifting as a means to prosper. You’ve been spreading the word in a super helpful, high energy light and I have no doubts you will continue to position yourself as a real authority in the gifting world.
Thanks for sharing with us Diane!

Thanks Ryan: Always appreciate you stopping by…I love your statement “sometimes we want to prosper but secretly expect lack”–I have found through my own experience that this attitude can be rooted in your own childhood and how your parents viewed money and prosperity. I had to learn that prosperity isn’t a nasty word and it’s OK to want to do more than live paycheck to paycheck, as my own parents so often did (and still do).
Thanks for your continued support and your confidence in me as a cash gifting leader.
